  Three stars only because the selection of food / liquor is limited. The staff are great, the views are tremendous. The ski runs down are hugely varied and will cater to beginner to expert.

  At the top of Crystal chair, this hut is both homey and crowded. Not their fault. We are, after all, at the same level as the Rendezvous - a major spoke in the Blackcomb mountain.

  This is a great ski hut hidden on the edge of Blackcomb at the top of the Chrystal Ridge Chair. World famous for their waffles. And the view is incomparable.

  Waffles weren't as good as they used to be. Quite soggy and not many options. We visited 2 times for lunch (in winter) and each it was a long wait to find a table. The room is tiny. I assume the seating wouldn't be much of an issue in summer when people use the outdoor seating more.

  Surprisingly good food at the top of the Crystal Express chairlift. As other reviewers have noted, the waffles are excellent with all the toppings you can imagine. Naturally the views are incredible. And as with any top of the mountain “hut” restaurant/warming station, it is small and truly designed to allow you a place to warm up for a few minutes and grab a quick bite or a drink.
