  While visiting Whistler (from California), the ABS and Traction system on my Ford Explorer started having issues (Dashboard indicators). Rob's Auto quickly diagnosed the issue, ordered parts (which take a day or 2 to get since they come from Vancouver), and kept me informed of progress being made. The repair was done with high quality and the cost was reasonable. Very good staff.

  I own and operate a towing company here in town.....like I tell all my customers who ask, stay away. They are known to rip people off.

  Charged me $141 for less than 15 minutes of labour (no parts). Engine light had come on, car was idling rough. I phoned ahead and they were busy but they agreed to do a quick scan. The mechanic tried swapping the ignition coils but it didn't help. They charged me $52.50 for the scan and $73.50 for the swap. I objected but they said that it was standard and weren't willing to reduce the charge. Absurd - adds up to $564 / hour. No real provided no useful information. Told me to come back in 5 days to finish the job.

  This shop was recommended to me for being honest and trustworthy - unlikely to sell me something I didn't need. Every time I have brought my vehicle in for repair there, the repair was done without suggested upgrades or other "essential repairs." Rob's puts a focus on customer satisfaction rather than making as much money as possible, and this is evident in their customer service as well.
